Softscapes as a photography project seeks to examines the archipelagoes of monocultural territories within residential estates in contrast to the interstitial sites that demonstrate alternative uses of urban soil (through community gardening or guerrilla gardening). With the use of grass clippings obtained from his neighbourhood to create a natural photographic emulsion, he attempts to expand the utility of grass beyond merely a ground cover, but as canvas for creation and cultivation.
